Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking for a Candidate to join their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

• Install, maintain, and repair Diesel driven Generators and Diesel driven Compressors.
• Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes

EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Trade Test – Millwright/Mechanical/Electrical
• Good English, written and spoken
• Skilled in coordinating deliveries
• Candidate must be very organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Ability to perform duties and deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
• Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE:

• To ensure a safe work environment by following the health and safety guidelines and policies.
• Services several types of diesel engines, light towers and pumps and generators.
• Troubleshoots diesel engines and electrical issues.
• To ensure machines are test, calibrated and run according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• To ensure machines received from customers are assessed and are in accordance to company standards and requirements.
• To ensure proper service documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and/or damage by customer.
• Operates a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment to stock required parts in the shop.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment by ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Occasionally required to services equipment and customers off-site.
• Accurate reporting of all scheduled duties assigned by Management.
• Preforms other related duties required.
