Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking for a Candidate to join their team.

Requirements:

• A relevant certificate or qualification in Mechanical Design is essential for this role.
• Must have relevant experience in mechanical design and draughting.
• Previous draughting experience working within the mining / process plant markets is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience with structural steel and plate work, draughting thickeners will be an advantage.
• Must have inventor and AutoCAD 3d drawing experience working within the engineering or related industries.
• Must be computer literate with basic Excel experience.
• Must have excellent verbal communications skills and must be attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Designing required process equipment working closely with the Projects Manager. 
• Following drawing office and quality procedures in execution of work.
• Working strictly according to deadlines as agreed with Projects Manager.
• Liaising with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors from time to time.
• Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors on a variety of different projects.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors.
