Our client in the Information Technology industry is currently looking for a Candidate to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Development of new projects and services.
• Maintaining existing projects and services.
• Requirements gathering (technical level only)
• Apply Agile/SCRUM methods to projects.
• Prioritize tasks and schedules within the project.
• Write test and document JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Make design and technical decisions for .NET/.Net core projects.
• Ensure that coding standards within the team are adhered to.
• Implement design patterns.
• Perform environment management (deployments scripts and configurations).
• Implement unit tests, and CI (Continuous Integrations).
• Refactor code where appropriate so the code base is always maintained (neat and relevant).
• Constantly improve on architecture.
• Investigate new technologies/tools.
• Working with business analysts and end-users to identify and refine requirements.
• Provide input into the design specifications the competencies, tooling, information available, and the behaviour patterns observed.

Requirements:

• An applicant must have proven a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with REST, JSON, and Web 2.0 technologies and APIS.
• Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git/Azure.
• Dev Ops.
• Experience with .NET application performance issues.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience building complex applications with high-performance needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent understanding, written and verbal skills in the Afrikaans language.
• Some understanding of the Dutch language will be beneficial.
